Conversus Group was founded nearly 20 years ago by Lisa Broderick after a decades-long career of turning around, starting and funding companies.
Lisa Broderick is an accomplished Senior Executive with more than 30 years of success across the technology, finance, and business development industries. To understand Lisa is to appreciate that her career has been defined by understanding how technology impacts society and changes behavior. From her early days at Stanford University and in Silicon Valley, Lisa has devoted her life to practical applications which positively influence people to change their minds and behavior using technology. In keeping with this, Lisa’s broad areas of expertise include finance, strategic planning, and execution, funding and leadership. Today, Lisa helps entrepreneurs lead lives of purpose and presence by helping them re-imagine themselves and their businesses.
Throughout her career, Lisa has held various leadership positions in technology and media companies. Beginning at Apple Computer over 30 years ago, to delivering radio to airplanes in flight, to heading one of the first e-commerce companies on the Internet to introducing the ability for documents to be signed using digital signatures, Lisa has been at the forefront of using technology to transform people and behavior. Today, Lisa continues to work in areas of diversity and inclusion, opening up medical research to non-scientists and for socially impactful initiatives in her role as advisor and coach to the CEOs of these companies.
In addition to serving as a key contributor to numerous organizational achievements, Lisa has proven to be extremely successful as an entrepreneur, beginning with the first company she co-founded in the 1980s established a licensing agreement with Microsoft to helping orchestrate the rapid growth from $3M to $30M and eventual sale of a telecom company. Lisa also serves several not-for-profit organizations including as Executive Director of Police2Peace and The Meditation Effect.
Lisa is a Transcendental Meditation (TM) Sidha, has studied at the Monroe Institute for the exploration of expanded states of consciousness and underwent brainwave biofeedback training at the Biocybernaut Institute. Lisa studied with noted author and teacher of Western Spirituality, Dr. Gerald Epstein, at the American Institute for Mental Imagery for over fifteen years. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University and her Master of Business Administration in Global Finance and Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
